De 10-jarige Arthur woont bij zijn grootmoeder. Op een dag hoort hij dat zijn oma diep in de schulden zit en dat hun huis waarschijnlijk verkocht zal worden. In een poging om hun huis te redden, gaat Arthur op zoek naar de legendarische schat, die zijn avontuurlijke opa ooit van de Massa heeft gekregen en die hij ergens in de streek heeft verborgen. Omdat zijn opa al jaren spoorloos verdwenen is, gaat Arthur zelf, met de hulp van het natuurvolkje de Minimoys, op zoek naar de schat.
