People Watching

There is a saying I hear float around, I never really knew what it meant until recently.
''There is none stranger than folk''

I have always believed, even in my relatively short time on this earth, that there are two types of people. The lucky ones and the unlucky ones. You have the obvious examples of this, the third world child, orphaned through AIDs and the Paris Hiltons born into a life of riches.

I, as I expect those who are reading this, is neither of those two extreme examples. But do we really have too be, to fall into the category of 'lucky' and 'unlucky' in life?

I could type forever about why I am sat here, genuinely hating life, but that's pointless, as it truly holds no bare on YOUR life.

People frustrate and irritate me. Most of the time, I can't even explain why. Maybe i'm the strange one, but I still feel that there really is none stranger than folk.

we do tend to gauge a fulfilled life based on material things. we tend to judge others when self examination is more meaningful. we tend to download porn and flash people in public places. We tend to throw hookers in the trunks of our cars. Errrr, what is this blog about? hee hee

I think it comes down to your own perspective of life & whether or not you act positively or negatively. People with a PMA (positive mental attitude) are often deemed to be lucky & vice versa.biggrin

my life is simple.....each day i look down at my feet to remind myself how green my own little patch of grass is.......we can easily forget what we have when we are blinded by what others have obtained.

Studies show that people who THINK they are unlucky tend to BE unlucky, while people who THINK they are LUCKY are ARE. Why this is is because people who think they are unlucky are usually less observant and do not notice things like; stray coins and bills, fliers and postings, and other things that can bring them fortune, while the 'lucky' people are usually more observant.
In essence, your 'luck' is based on your outlook. Maybe you should change your outlook on life and you might see a change?
