Music, we all love at least one song.

This is about music "videos/images" in your head.

Whenever i hear a good song i get this images or tiny clips in my head of different things, for egsample, Im listening to Creedence with the song "Run through the jungle", I emediately think of the Vietnam war, Hughey choppers slightely above the trees and marlboro ciggarettes on there helmets and some text saying "born to kill"

So the question is: Do you have these images or clips when you hear a special song?, If you do, please name the band and the song and tell me/us what it is your picturing in your head.

I always get the theme song from super mario brothers stuck in my head (even now). When I get this song stuck in my head I always have the same image in my head.....its me running in a cross country race. This is an actual memory not just a metaphor. I think I must have been playing the game a lot at that time. The funny thing is that the memory has changed to fit the game. I run and jump etc like in the game.smile

After reading your statement, I detected 14 errors in your spelling and punctuation. I have decided that I want to drink what you are currently consuming, that we may party hard and conceive question 30...LOL, kidding, just giving you a hard time, sweety.wink
But to answer your current question: Indestructible by Disturbed. It conjours visions of me, in army camo, torn and bloody, running back to my family after completing an almost suicide mission. A cold hearted killer, bent on completing my task, at the same time being a man desperate to survive and make it home to my family again. Yin and Yang...

Well as you know PiratMas I too am a lover of CCR and my favourite song by them is ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain?’ I often when listening to songs get quite surreal images in my mind but for this song it is always the same. I am sitting on a hillside on a summer’s day; the field and hill are covered in lush green grass and daisies. (This hill is actually five minutes from my house and is exactly as I am describing it) I am looking down the hill towards a girl I used to know who is walking slowly down the hill picking daisies that she is going to join together to make into a crown of flowers for me. The sun is shining and the sky is blue but on the horizon there is a single black cloud that looks as though it may develop into a storm. She looks over her shoulder at me and smiles. That smile is the sunshine that the song refers too. I can see though that there are also some tears glistening in her eyes because like me, she realises that we will soon go our separate ways, and those tears are the rain on a sunny day.

As a musician I can easily imagine things when I play music. The prelude to Max Bruch's Scottish Fantasy always makes me think about someones soul mate dying. And the person crying and holding them wishing they were with them.
