We have bad mornings some times and it can really ruin your day.
For me a bad morning is when there is no coffee and i hit my toe on the threshold. Headache is also one of the things i hate in the mornings, and belly ache.
I find starting the day off with positive thinking really helps, especially when I can focus the day on helping other people. I have a Daily Refections book is use and recently started reading RiverCoyote26242thread.

I feel rough in the morning if I've had some bad nightmares the night before. It usually takes a few cups of tea & a couple of cigarettes before I can face my daily bowl of Scot's oats porridge, then I feel like I can carry on with the day.
I'm a morning person so getting up extra early so I can be focused for work or school isn't a problem for me.
Also as a University student only sleeping 4 hours a day feels normal to me. Get to school at 7 AM, get home at 10 PM. Sleep from Midnight to 4 AM.
