Decades

There has been very interesting decades that i feel like i have missed out on(damn it)
I have missed the music(when it was new) and i have missed the cool clothes, thats right. I think they are cool.

So many hair styles that has passed me by. The way people was back then and the "culture" if you can call it that.
Everything seemed so much colourfull and "alive" and the people really had fun back then. Now its just money and business. Fuck your money, and showe the business up your bum!

My favourite decade is the 80's (as you might know) I just love the colours and almost everything about it, except for the stone washed jeans, what the hell were they thinking about? HEHE! I thought i present to you some songs from that area that might interest you, whom knows, you might even like it.

Sabrina - boys boys boys
Gary Numan - Cars
Dragon - Celebration
Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel The Noise
Trio - Da Da Da
Eddy Grant - Electric avenue
Duran Duran - Reflex

That is just a fev of all that was back then.

Here are also some pictures.

I often almost curse my parents for not making me some decades earlier. If you grew up and had that 80s hairstyle and those clothes and really rocked out, i fucking salute you, what a privilege to have been you. I does not matter of you was a rocker or more into disco/pop, everything was great.

It seems like the only thing the youth today only cares about is the fucking Iphone apps, haha!
Some times i think this decade is pretty shitty to be honest, Sure the technology today is much better than it was before but you know what, i trade it all to go back in time.

Okey, enough about the reading now. I just want you to get some "feel" to it all in this question.
So my friends, the question for today is:What is the worst decade you have known/lived through?

Now i'm off to listen to Whitesnake - Here I Go Again ! Screw you 00's

I loved the 80s too, the woman were all gorgeous back then.
Worst I would pick this one - the music all sounds the same, kids are all hoodlums with no respect, everything is really expensive, tv sucks.
Hang on...that's what my parents were saying back in the 80's cry

Almost forgot about the Government using the police force to beat the crap out of the poor miners as they shutdown British Coal. Next they turned on Fleet St as they sacked 100's of print workers.
I did like the Wham Rap though in 82.biggrin

I was a teenager in the ninties ,although i have good memories of that time and loved some of the songs.I would have loved to been around in the sixties the beatles ,the stones and oh the fashion ,Mary Quant and Twiggy looked amazing I love that music and grew up with it because my Dad was mad about music ..
I thought i would die when Take That broke up the day before my 17th Birthday in 1996,i adore Garry Barlow and as everyone probaly knows they got back together again!!
I also loved the spice girls..... girl power and all that jazz... and Boyzone ,Not sure what era Abba is but i love there songs and the movie Mama mia ..
I think music is ageless and doesn't matter when you where born ....we are lucky to have YouTube to look back at all the music over all years...

The 90's were a big let down after how radical the 80's was.

I dislike this current decade, I would definitely rather the 90s, as I have not experienced any of the 80s as I was still in my dad's left ______ tittertitter

I have only ever had bad moments......never a decade.
60's had the Grateful Dead Zappa and Acid.
70's I lived and breathed Deep Purple and Led Zep Hawkwind and a little Uriah Heap thrown in, the 80's I got mellow and chilled out too Misty in Roots, John Peel was my favorite person on the planet as he played music that is only equalled by the internets and then came the 90's where I pretty much travelled the world 3 or 4 times and now live in China and travel around Asia when not lurking on the nets.

Wow, PiratMas17876 is either angry or drunk...either way I like it!!

I was only a child in the 80's so cant say I have great memories of it. I was a teenager in the 90's and I enjoyed it very much, first drink, first kiss, first sight & touch of a real life boob, first time patting the dog through the letter box...etc...
So Far from 2011 onwards has been pretty shit - loved ones dying, recession etc...
