Area codes

Every body has an area code and there is lots of them.

Were i come from we call people from Stockholm 08's because there area code is: 08. We say so as a slanting word so they feel a little angry, they have a tendensy of thinking they are better than every one else(they make us think so of them) so that is why we do it, its like when someone from the city goes to the out skirts someware and find every one in the town looking at him/her with angry eyes and thinking "GTFO"

So, Do you think bad about people with other area codes? if so explain what you think!

No...an Area Code does not make a person any more than a spot on your skin makes you a leopard

Area code doesn't matter to me,i instinctively don't like anybody. It's only if i decide to give them a chance that i discover if they are likeable or not..that's probably a fault on my part,i know i can be really hard work(if i forget,the wife is always there to remind me) but it's just the way i am

When I lived in the "boogie down Bronx" NYC the area code was known as 911(since is the phone number for emergencies)

We just put the majority of our human filth in Elizabeth (or as they call it, Lizbeff) or Salisbury (or again, as they call it, Sawsbree)
They probably don't own a home phone coz they have spent all their cash on booze, drugs ond gambling at the pub, so no area code is required.
Having said that, my first few years of life were in 'Lizbeff' and my dad, god knows why, still lives there...

The only area code I don't like is (213) Cali #! I use to live in Texas with the area code (214). Always getting wrong #'s from the Cali's. (Oh my gosh, I used the same scenario as you did) I see what you mean and I feel ya Miss Mas.

i like Europe's simple and effective 28 digit dialing. Unless it;s a long distance call then its like 58 digits. Ah but that's not all!! Use a fancy calling card and you get to punch in an additional 62 digits!!

I'm a bit confused as to what are referring as area code..

Is it the area code from the phone numbers or the zip-code? Either way, I live in a Town called Braga (Portugal) and we 'hate' our neighboors from Guimarães.

It all started with our respective football (soccer) teams and their fans. Basically, Guimarães's team lost a game some time ago and they claim that they were robbed (not true).

Later at the end of the game their President said during a press conference "If we're going to be treated like this we might as well be Spanish".

Since then we call Guimarães, Espanha (Spain) and they really hate it
