It's a rarity that I get goosebumps watching an anime or even just watching the trailer. I got plenty of goosebumps, to the point where I couldn't stop watching.

What it's about?

"Thiers was the story of a promise. A tale of the great ruler of monsters, and the boy who gave his all to her. It was a tale of loyalty and the fleeting love that they shared."

I use that quote from the show because it's a perfect representation of what they anime is about.... oh yeah and vampires.

Why I recommend it?

Without it being written in the renaissance when the greatest works were written it feels like something that Shakespear had written. It was heartfelt, brutal, lovely and sad all in one. The story was one that brought you to your knees even though predicatble, you were still wondering what was next or how it would end. The characters were beautifully inserted when needed and explained like a masterpiece.

What I wish it had.

More episodes. Even though only 12 episodes, it still is completely perfect at 12. I just want more episodes due to my selfishness towards things. The way it ended does leave some openess and the possibility for another season. Let's hope it does.

When I was watching this I felt like I was watching a classic. The narration throughout the series was beautiful and timed just right. It gave the idea that you were being told the greatest love story of all time.
