They Attacked My Wall!!

I used to be an anonymous user and troll the torrents, occasionally giving the Mods a hard time. Then I joined KAT and put on my nice mask hee hee Anyway, one of the first things I remember at KAT was people immediately posting on my wall saying "Welcome to KAT" and other kind greetings.

It really surprised me because this is a large site and I had never been greeted on any other site on the Internet. It was the first sign that something about KAT was different. KAT was a culture of friendliness, helpfulness, and good torrentness.

I can't ask a question because a certain Green Shreky She Hulk will come after me, so I have to form this as a statement:

Please share your first impression of KAT (hopefully it will be something positive)

i remember colinone334 spending about 30 minutes with me trying to get me to understand how to embed youtube videos in the "what are you listening to" thread. each time he wrote in the code it disappeared so i couldnt see it and didnt think to take any notice of the code when i replied to his messages titter

good times!

My first impression of KAT (November 2010) as an unregistered visitor at the time was 'it's just another torrent site' - as it was known as KickassTorrents.com back then. I thought it would be as bad as isohunt...

Fortunately I was soon proven wrong on all counts in a very short space of time and in a good way too! I have no regrets at all since officially signing up and being a part of KAT as it is now known. I feel I made a wise choice here, and KAT is like home away from home for me.

It was great until the ANONYMOUS direct-democracy applied their fascist will on my expression through mod staff. I shall not be helping anyone in forums again or posting ideas feedback.

My first impression was a little overwhelming. It was my first time to download a torrent and I was really finding my baby feet! Now after 6 months, I'm a regular to the sight although I don't often make contact with other members. It is still obvious to me, however, that there is an enormous community spirit on this site which makes me want to come back, instead of going to other sites. The times I've needed help, the respondents have been incredibly helpful and friendly. My hats off to all those who make this site such a unique and worthwhile experience!!!

I cant say i was very impressed the first week lol
the first few days some of my torrents was reported, rated down with comments fake , i was also reported! huffy
thank god i did meet some friendly and helpful ppl here or else i would prob just upload my torrents here or maybe just left .
SirSeedsAlot52743 was one of the first i talked to here, funny guy! lol

Although I do believe - First impression is the best, KAT is an exception, because KAT has something new to impress you everyday. And its constantly changing. I day i joined, i saw few changes made within hours, and i am not talking about the color of the text or the font size, the changes were made to help the users, to understand and use KAT in a better way. wink

first impressions were much the same as yours really, i was impressed by the friendly,helpful people,and not least the sense of fun and, dare i say,caring that exists here. good people,great site.wink

well I never got any welcomes to speak of but when I have had a problem ppl have always been willing to help ppl like Boobsman , Bradstheannoying , and prof so I have only good impressions of Kat.
