Got fired for causing a small spark of fire that burn down the whole entire office.
I don't mean to do that. =)

Never been fired, but I've quit before because I found out there was no way I was getting a raise. So, I guess I learned that it's wise to make sure there are opportunities to get a raise.

I learn to swing a lot quicker at the boss before security comes...

Got fired for sleeping under my desk. They had a "no having a lie-down policy" unfortunately. It was in my own office, with the lights out, the phone on DND, and during lunchtime. I stand (am prone) by my decision. The caveat however, is that a lot of happy hours were being attended in those days…
I learned that I needed to be self-employeed, and that Human Resources is commonly peopled with hostile humourless drudges. As a life lesson, the experience proved that neck-ties are best used hanging from doorknobs.
