#1 Rule For Your Food Safety!

DO NOT piss off the people who handle your food!

Why do people insist on being 'A'holes when they are eating out. Do they really think it will get them better food or service? Do they really know if their food is safe after they piss someone off? Have they not seen the movie 'Waiting'? I mean, that stuff really does happen in some restaurants. I have been in the food service industry for over 20 yrs, and I can say from experience that it does.

Sorry, rough day at work and I had to vent.

I am a retired navy cook. In the officer's dining room, an officer came in 30 minutes late and demanded food and was quite belligerent about it. Well my co-worker and I dug in the garbage and pulled out enough for a dinner plate (we at least rinsed it off)...he ate the whole plate and demanded dessert (we had cherry cheesecake that evening)...needless to say, that we didn't have any. He continued his belittling of us, so I told him I would look again. I went to the back room. Took out a graham cracker square and put it on a plate. Took out a 1lb block of butter and cut off a good 1/2 inch slab of butter and placed that one the cracker, covered it with cherries....well...he ate, the ENTIRE thing. Talking about how creamy it was and the best he has had in ages (I just enjoyed the next two days he complained about having diarrhea really bad and he didn't know from what. I felt that much better. lollollol

from the stories i hear you can even be a nice person and get junk done to your food by punks who think that stuff is funny. but the mafia has the last laugh because they out real people in our food at the processing plants

Personally, I try and treat my servers and the cooks with respect when I eat out. How do I know somebody doesn't paw off onto my burger or into my shake, or spit in my drink if I'm a brat?
Granted, there are places where I'm sure people do it just for kicks, but hey, I don't eat in places that seedy.

However if you must be an asshole at least wait till your food has been served

I know how it is. I have seen Waiting. I would never piss off of my food servers. If it came down to something that horrible... I would bruise em up in the parking lot when they get off. There is nothing worse than semen in your soup or pubic hairs in ur salad. Give ur server some respect and hopefully they will return in like.

Speaking only for myself, I have won many customer service awards with different companies. I know that without the customers I do not have a job, so I treat everyone with respect. Until they piss me off enough.

Don't get me wrong, I do not do those thing any more. That was in my teens and early twenties. Now I just call management and let them deal with the problem.

Apparently a sauce in a restaurant near me, that is now closed, contained no less than 7 different samples of sperm. So be nice to the staff if you like your guacamole untouched.smile
