This is quite simple really as the pics will explain themselves more or less..

Firstly every torrent has a hash code and most sites provide that hash code, you'll find the hash code in any torrent listed here at KAT on the torrent your after in it's technical page via the Tab next to Main (under locations)

It's that long list of letters/numbers you copy (left mouse down and highlite across and then right click copy)

Once you have copied then proceed to TheLocalBay

and you'll see the Hash Box

Then it's in that box you paste the Hash code (right click 'paste)

as you can see there is an option to add trackers if you need too (Not important really as DHT has got your back on a Public Torrent) Now click Grab It

This is a typical utorrent Magnet box..
Yes it appears empty and thats normal
yes when you add it to utorrent you will see the file name isn't the same as to what you are downloading
yes when utorrent notices seed activity the file name will change to the actual download name
yes you can use the file section of a torrent (utorrent) to stop any from downloading, just right click individually 'don't download' (since you have to download the full torrent without the choice of a part thereof)

some people might get a box saying there browser needs to launch an application, you simply check (if available) 'do not show again' but either way you do click 'yes' or 'ok'

I made this post as some people are having problems with the magnet link (horseshoe) at KAT, i'm not sure if it's you or KAT so in saying that if there is nothing wrong with the KAT magnet and your having problems with it well this tut will be deem useless eitherway (Learn about Magnets and how to, plenty of info at the forum) but you can still try..

Here's a free tip and one i do amongst peeps who ask me for requests, if it's not available at KAT what i do is send a user a hash code for 3 reasons
1. I don't like to send peeps to another site if it's not here at KAT
2. Some users depending country can not access some torrent sites away from KAT or KAT itself (I do get requests from peeps away from KAT asking for stuff at KAT because they can't get KAT)
3. I find a lot of torrents on non speaking english sites and it's easy for me to give a hash code and send them to the localbay because TheLocalBay isn't a torrent site

.. The hash provided here in this tut is titled Test and it's deleted so it doesn't exist and contains no info except a .txt that says hello... hehe
