No Copy Paste

posted 27 Sep 2012, 11:30
I Think its ok if you find something interesting and copy paste here as a blog , only if its not already posted

As No One gonna go to search for same blog and check it on other sites just to read it .

So I guess it should be ok , dont know about you So What Do You think ? it's ok or not

Is this your first blog that is not copy/paste? tittertittertitter Copy/paste is okay now and then. I really enjoyed your last blog. But blogging is an online journal for expressing yourself....if people are simply copy/pasting every day that is called "spamming" the blog roll.

I will now tell you what Rgeneb14663 told me:
If you want to share an interesting topic in your blog, instead copy pasting it, paraphrase it and write what you feel about it, that will be a more cool blog :)

The dreaded copy/paste syndrome lol
You make a good point and cp is ok if thats not the entire content of the blog. Paste the article but tell us why you are doing so. What interested you about it particulary, why do you think we should read it? Remember your blog is your voice if you just want to portray the fact that you are lazy and incapable of original thought then feel free to just paste other peoples words.
Dont forget too that we are all here because we share common interests, if you found an article then there's a good chance a percentage of your readers have already done the same. The article yesterday about torrent clients is a perfect example, I must have seen that pasted over 3 or 4 sites now.
Add to that you also run the risk of repetition within the site, look at the blog from wrong user link below yours. At first glance its an ok blog, he gives us his reasons for posting "I hate Iphones". A bit more about why he hates iphones might have been useful but its a start. Unfortunately every image on that blog has been pasted here already recently. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he didnt realise that but its a risk you take every time you cp.

I think you hit the nail right on the head there. It's best to express yourself in your own words, but not a hard and fast rule, and in the case of a copy and pasted article, you can add the original source link to back up your post if you wish.
Unless a majority complain and/or report it, and mods act upon it, you are fine.

you have all the right my friend and you can see now one of the bloggers wrong user link made a blog by just COPY and PASTE ... and when I told him to respect the scientific integrity and write the reference he just delete my post...so NO ONE LIKE TO HEAR THE TRUTH... but now I think that we really need to rate up/down system in the blogs for cases like that.

Dinesh, good to see you're trying something original. I respect that. As others have said, copy-pasting some info is okay, as long as it's not your whole blog, and that you add some observations of your own. At least this one is promoting some positive responses, so well done! wink I have a few ideas of my own that i'd like to write about, but my profile seems to be missing a tab titter so I can't ... yet!

Personally if you think people will find it intresting then it should be ok, if its random junk with no meaning then not so ok smile

I like to read, and I like to read the blogs of you guys it's so funny and so educative but I really enjoy the discussion about something that you feel not someone else, so I not not with copy/past at least the whole blog, you can put some of it to help you explain what so you wanna say but not all the blog, it will be boring then useless.. I hate when I see a something that I like in blog then to find out that's just stealing from someone else without even mention it
