Jobs....

posted 21 Jul 2012, 12:12
Finished my CV after weeks of debating whether i could give a f*** about doing it lol

I have a supermarket like 5 minutes away from me .. if you are British, TESCO! :D lmao

Fingers crossed i'll get the interview where i'll tell them that if they do not give me the job, then i will tell Liam Neeson to find them and kill them.. hehe

Hopefully it'll be £500 a month extra money in my pocket :D

Best of luck. I used to work for them in their banking division. One of the most disorganised companies I've ever worked for. They're good at stock control, footfalls etc. but suck for HR and similar. You get a discount after 6 mths work though.
Read up on their "values" as they idolize them like a God so speak that marketing mantra and you'll do fine in any interview. They also liked to say how they "evolved" from the stack-it-high sell-it-cheap concept to a modern supermarket brand catering to customer needs. Shame that every Tesco I've seen still follows the stack-it-high policy (i.e. put excess stock high on shelves and out of customer reach.) Oh, they don't respond well to criticism either :)

The first job I ever had was in a supermarket and I used to go to work there after school finished every day. I loved stacking shelves because it appealed to my desire to make things neat and straight but every time a customer wanted to take a can off the shelf and spoil my pristine level rows I wanted to shout out them “Don’t you dare touch that can!” I hated being a till girl though, I used to feel trapped and exposed and I hated the way the girls uniform would make customers point and laugh at me, Probably should have worked in a better shop now I come to think about it. lol
Best of luck getting the job mate.
