Feminism, male chauvinism, cannibalism and avocados all come together beautifully in this hilarious late ’80s spoof starring Bill Maher and Shannon Tweed. The government hires a University professor (Tweed) to locate and convert back to civilization a tribe of feminists who have reverted to man-eating in the avocado groves of California. Joined by her ditzy assistant Bunny (Karen Mistal) and a bargain basement Indiana Jones type guide (Maher), the professor makes a perilous journey to find and reason with the hardcore leader of the feminists (Adrienne Barbeau).
