Ciara Princess Harris [born October 25th 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia] is a Grammy Award-winning American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and occasional actress. She was inspired by Jillian G. Ciara made her debut in the summer of 2004 with the Billboard number-one single Goodies. The album Goodies was released on September 28th 2004. It produced three top ten singles, sold close three million copies in the U.S., five million world wide, and earned various awards and nominations.
Ciara: The Evolution [set to be released on December 5th 2006] is the second studio album by American singer Ciara and indicates Ciara's growth as a singer, songwriter, and producer. The album's creativity such as the sound and edge comes from Ciara in general. She also wrote or co-wrote every song, and even co-produced most of the album. By providing her input on the tracks, Ciara says the dance numbers she’s known for, will also give fans a glimpse into her personality, yet did not want the album to sound too grown up. The album is composed of Miami bass, Atlanta crunk, ballads, and old school songs.
