Your using a laptop, more importantly a popular branded one, so its unlikely your going to be able to upgrade the video card. Your laptop is old if its running with 1GB of RAM, 10 inch netbooks these days run 2GB's and its not ram alone that will run this game. I'd suggest looking into a decentish desktop to run this game and others, or upgrade to new laptop with a 3D graphic card by Nvidia or ATI, preferbly dedicated :)
