.7z is a archive like Winrar. Both 7zip and Winrar can extract it.

SOLUTION: Copy the extracted folder (Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath) to root of a disk (I have it in D:Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath). Then run setup.bat and it worked for me

I had all the issues people keep posting. The way I managed to get it working was to extract the zip file and then cut/paste the extracted folder to D:Games and THEN run the setup file. Now it works.
