I've been having a real fun time tonight (started yesterday when my car sprang a leak in the radiator) and went on from there. I can't get into Facebook because they say I've got a virus, so they want to scan my system with their "McAfee Repair" scanner. Well, that's not going well. But I ran my Avast! antivirus scan in the Boot mode tonight. Found 3 serious viruses! (This is all new - didn't have any 2 days ago!) One of them I was told about here yesterdeay - a BPH.dll virus, and also that awful Win32 Virus. (A 3rd was hiding in one of my movie downloads - forget it's name - but it was in the Vampire Diaries S1E15 .avi. I've removed those - but not sure all is well yet. The McAfee "Repair" scan is still running - stuck at 92% so I cannot log into Facebook even now. Really irked by all of this. (HATE Facebook but need to leave a msg for my son there.)

Just steer clear of downloading any more Taylor Swift and you should be fine

Well at least, finally, the McAfee virus scanner completed. Apparently I am virus free again. Nothing in the Avast virus scan this time either. That's a relief! I was having problems yesterday with something marking my comments here at KAT - putting in little word links to external websites. I was hating that! But those are gone now too! Thank God!

virus free is always a good thing, maybe it was kat itself with the new updates...

I thought those stupid word links WERE something the KAT website was putting in. But somebody told me that was caused by the BPH.dll virus. I also went to my Windows Control Panel, and force-removed 3 little programs I found in there - stuff I didn't recognize and that looked really suspicious. Did not affect anything else that I can see. (Bet they might have been the cause of the word link advertising crap.)
