 The HELPING A NEW MEMBER THREAD  This thread is for new KAT users to post there problems to if you cant find what you are looking for and all staff, mods or super users shall get back to you a.s.a.p. dont be worried if you dont know where to post.... and dont be worried and start to think that no one will help...... Hi people. Firstly I want to say I'm a fairly newbie member of the P2P community and I've been using Kickass now for about six months.I really like the site and have learnt quite a bit from the forums other members. I've downloaded some great material here over these six month and I want to know about the protocols of uploading things I have enjoyed after downloading. For example if I have a movie or application and I can't remember who originally uploaded it...what can I do...I don't want to try and pass off good quality movies or cracks for apps as my own work. If I do remember who did upload it, is giving them the recognition in the torrent description acceptable or shouldn't I be uploading this kind of torrent in the first place. I just think it's time to share some of the things I have taken from the sight. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
you just have to bookmark the torrents that you download, that way you will know who's it was

i carnt blog there no pannel to start blogging :( as im real trouble with kat as i carnt find my programe :(
Blogs are only available to verified uploaders, super users, mods, staff. You can't find a program? Are you referring to the TV show you're asking about on this thread https://kat.ph/community/show/33574/#9895423?

Well the best solution is to seed your next download to the maximum, don't delete it as soon as it's finished, you can still watch the movie, listen to the music when you are seeding. Or if you have a fairly decent upload speed - you could help out people that have little or nothing - go to ****Adopt an Uploader V2**** program, and download then leave seeding - any one of the downloads from the list, let it seed foor a week, then choose another - you don't even need to like the file - you're just helping out Uploading a file that already exists is pointless, and unless you still have all of the files inside the folder, and the original name of the torrent, rebuilding then seeding the torrent will be difficult. Now, I started with utorrent and anything I downloaded from here started to 'auto-seed'. I'm currently trying to seed Despicable Me but is registering online.It shows that it's seeding in utorrent, but that's about it. Um, could some help me?

Edit: If you want to upload it here, check out this tutorial - [Tutorial] How to upload here @ KAT. It says it's seeding, I use utorrent and I followed your directions. It appears to be working properly. I believe it's like you said, supply and demand. Thanx for your willingness to assist!!
Thanks ProdProf. By the way...what would you consider a decent upload speed to be? Anything between 1.5Mb/s and 4.7Mb/s - but honestly - even if it's it's lower - every little helps - especially with new torrents. Great. Thanks again for your help! Much appreciated. pp  |
