I noticed that most of the books I read are written by males. Please suggest some books that were written by females.(preferably audio books).

Fern Michaels
Lori Foster (not sure if she's on audio)
Robin Schone (not audio yet)
Donna Boyd's The Promise and The Passion
Laurell K. Hamilton (I prefer the Merry Gentry series) but her work is really a personal choice very graphic

Mo Hader: Pig Island, Ritual and Tokyo are a few of her stories I really enjoyed.
Creepy, frightening and often a stark reminder of how truth can be much stranger and darker than any fiction.

Stephenie Meyer (yeah the Twilight writer. I know. Shut up) - The Host.

Her other big work, now being made into a film. Good story told from an interesting perspective that will drive you nuts up until the last quarter of the book, then it goes a little Hollywood. Might be a YA title, I'm not sure, but I liked it anyway.

Oh yeah, audio books are for lazy retards. Actual reading requires effort and imagination, which keeps your mind sharp, unlike audio books, which actively destroy your imagination just like television.
