Hi readers,

I'm a huge fan of horror movies, and have probably downloaded almost every horror movie that is available (atleast that's what I think), but, I'd like to know your opinions of your favourite horror movies?

Also, any newly released horror movies that people have put up that you'd recommend? I've spent alot of time viewing some horror movies that turn out to be low-budget and somewhat poor so please share your views!

Thanks,
LT

I've seen Insidious. Personally I wasn't that impressed, the only bit that sent a chill down my neck was the bit at the end with the old lady/witch. Thanks for the suggestion though bud! Any other movies guys?

I love horror movies, but they don't seem to have the same thrill as they did years ago. Whatever happened to great horror series' like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, etc.???
...Sure, Paranormal Activity was good, but the last two were the same as the original with a different script. Insidious started out well, but the ending was rather lame. Horror movies, IMO, just aren't the same. I'm not even sure most of these "scary movies" can even be labeled as 'Horror' movies anymore.
...to answer the actual question though...I like the classic movies I mentioned earlier. As for more recent movies, I liked the ring (at the time it came out...not so great when I watch it now). Orphanage is a good movie -- is that considered a horror movie??
