Id get a Mac Pro with the new intel xeon 6 cores x2, 64 gigs of ram, dual Radeon HD 5770 1GB, a 512GB SSD and a 2TB for storage and the most important part, an actual workable mouse. around $12,000 US

I'd probably still build my own case but if I had to pick one, the lanboy air is pretty damn sexy
now that DFI is starting to suck I might swing back to asus since they seem to be getting their stuff together, if not then I'd be looking for the best mobo I can, max out sata 6g slots, usb3, compatible with the best AMD proc around, quad crossfire the premium ATI/AMD cards in a dual graphics dual physics array or tri graphics single physics depending on how well a single performs for physics

liquid coolant system with dual 3x120mm radiators from danger den
premium sound card likely soundblaster but not definitively
MS sidewinder keyboard, x4 made me very happy so w/e newest is probably
gigabyte gm (10k?) mouse, the m8000 was BA but its sequel is even more awesome
back to the keyboard if we're going "unlimited budget" I might actually opt for the optimus tactus http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/tactus/
though that's only if it allows non square / rectangular keys
it's entirely possible I might even hire some group like that art lebedev to build me a custom keyboard to my specs like I have envisioned
the Fusion IO SSD which is honestly best SSD in existence except for the fact you can't boot from it
OCZ vertex 3 largest capacity, and get a bunch of them
a HDD Box set up for five or six 3TB drives for massive storage
Probably go ahead and get a premium NIC (network interface card) built in is nice, but sometimes a good nic can get you that slight booost

4 very large monitors 30"+
largest wacom tablet I can get
a new Sony reciever and speaker system to go with it, most likely all Klipsh
A station table to accommodate, one I'd most likely design and build myself to also have room for consoles and games etc
OCZ power supplies have never failed me, I'd likely need to go for something with more oomph though and get a 1300watt they don't make, fortunately there's a liquid oil cooled one I know of that I could get, if that still wasn't enough power it also can hook into a larger 220v socket and pull in up to 2500w which should be more than enough
I might even go with phase change instead of liquid cooling depending on how I feel bout the hardware

instead of monitors I might actually just go with a projector

need a good chair to sit in
a couple USB extension cables
All kinds of software.... which I already have listed elsewhere
and why not a toy or two from think geek
definitely a premium mic, maybe a webcam though perhaps a camera that I could use as a webcam would be better

can't think of what I'm missing...
so that should suffice for now
