Annoying things they do in movies:15 February 2012, 01:32 (1 year ago)
 Maybe it's just me but there are a number of things characters seem to do in movies that are really irritating.
For example: They walk into homes and leave doors wide open behind them. They hang up the telephone without saying "bye". They order drinks, take one sip, then leave. They don't unclasp necklaces, they pull them off breaking them in the process. (then sometimes immediately put them on as though the clasp is still intact) They throw away expensive firearms just because they've run out of ammo. They pour gasoline on the ground then toss in a perfectly good Zippo lighter. There are many more but what do you think? Any that spring to mind that you find annoying? Or is it really just me? ----------------------- Edit: Annoying movie clichés or repetitive storylines are also welcome, but please, if you reference a movie directly, try to include a spoiler warning if it needs one.  Somebody gets shot and the bullet absolutely has to be dug out or the wound will never heal and the person will bleed to death. There is never any mention of tying arteries to stop the bleeding or suturing, just get the bullet out and everything will be fine, what the hell does Hollywood think bullets are made of? It happened the other day while watching the first episode of the new series of Falling Skies (Not sure why I am bothering to be honest) The hero gets shot and they take out the deadly blood inducing bullet but he just keeps on bleeding, “Hmmm there must be some more bullet fragments still in there” thinks the Doctor, and sure enough she digs around inside him doing all kinds of damage and then removes a piece of metal the size of a piece of grit. What the hell are bullets made of, is it some kind of strange material called Bleedium!
  Whenever a bunch of people put there guns up there's this sound effect of a gun being cocked back even though they aren't actually cocking the gun, just pointing it up.
Also I am new to KAT so heyy or someone approaches them, they cock the gun and point it at them. then a second enemy approaches, they cock the gun a second time to point it at them. and welcome to KAT.
 In the Alien series, one alien can seem invincible with acid of blood and super fast and silent killing powers. It can kill a ship load of people by itself. There is no hope!! Unless a Predator shows up, then the Aliens get all goofy and loud, blood is not as bad except when it needs to be used by the Predator to melt something, and one Predator kills a ship full of Aliens.

You must be speaking of AVP and AVP:R. I understand where you're coming from and personally I don't see them as canon to the other films. I do love the "Predators" film from 2010 though. Something that annoys me that they do in film. This has probably already been covered in a previous post (not going through 32 pages to look) is in Horror films the person who always has to enter the dark house,woods,whatever and start saying "Hello, is there anyone out there". Yeah, It's Jason...you better move your scrawny behind NOW!!
