Missed The ALL ENGLISH Thread13 April 2012, 12:04 (1 year ago)
Have very little time to visit Here lately, so I'm not really sure what "WE" were losing our cool about.
Personally being from LoUiSiAna My native Slanguage is Cajun. I've got a hard enough time trying to speak in American. So I'm wondering, Since I can't speak any of the Many Filipino Languages, I'm Not Allowed to post in the Pinoy Community? There are a lot of Tagalog Movies I downloaded for My Wife that I'd enjoy watching with Her if I could find English subs. So do I need to have Her write a post in Tagalog, Cebuano, or (?), or All of Them? It would really be a lot easier for Me to post in English, but I don't want to offend anyone. PS: There are also a lot of "Limey" Movies I'm gonna have to start downloading srt files for. I don't have any idea what you Blokes are saying half the time!..LOL.. interesting snippet of info from me... the reason we are called limey is because when it was discovered that lemons could help prevent scurvy we had already P***ed off most of the places in the world where we could get lemons and the closest we could get was... yep you guessed it... LIMES!
Bat.1 if youve got a genuine query you need help for in the Pinoy community it is ok for you to post there asking for help :)
the main point about the recent issue with international forums was to be respectful of non english speaking threads and communities. Sorry but I find that term highly offensive and a slur as it is aimed at countries outside the USA (particularly the British). Not funny at all, don't even joke about it. People have different cultures and speak different languages. I am UK/Aussie and you offended me by using the L word in your post. ![]() |
