I really enjoyed this......
This tribute was created to honor Steven Spielberg when he received the 2012 David O. Selznick Achievement Award from the Producers Guild. The tribute highlights all the films that Mr. Spielberg served as Producer, Executive Producer and Producer/Director.

sweat I myself read Tribute and Spielberg in the thread title and thought he passed away last night or something.

Be still my pounding heart! My Gawd, I thought Spielburg died too! We just lost Dick Clark (American Bandstand)... altho he was 82 ... Spielburg is in his 60s I think. And he is a fabulous film director!

I saw some of the War Horse movie - I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing. It was horribly violent - too many horses died in the 1st World War! I didn't know they did until I saw some of that movie. I've never walked out on one of Spielberg's movies before that one.

Despite the Horse moments "War Horse" is pretty tame on the gore and horrific images for a war movie. Still, I understand its hard to watch any movie with defenseless animals being harmed.
