Okay so heres the story.. i live in a very small town in south georgia so everyone kinda knows everybody. So heres the question. Was at a little smokehouse place today with the ole lady eating some bbq. Well beside me are these teenagers all prim and proper little rich kids. so not thinking about it we pay for our ticket and walk outside. out there sitting and smoking a cigerette in her car enjoying it before the ride home i notice the tweens come out and hop in there suped up big ass truck all black paint black rims. sweeet assss truck btw. well of course mommy and daddy paid for it. well they was parked beside me and when he opened his door i heard something hit the ground. not thinking anything about it i just continued to smoke and they drove off.. welllll right before we leave i happened to have a gander on the pavement and low and behold a pair of glasses. so i was like SCOOPED... got em and no one seen me. look at em, friggen costa del mars. so i immediately feel bad about stealing. get home smoke a bowl to not feel so bad then get on facebook. and what do you know, that guys girlfriend posted a comment saying she was sorry he lost his glasses. get on his page and he is just ranting and raving about f#g thieves picked up his glasses instead of taking them in the restaurant and how those were his and how some poor person must feel like its Christmas and how he will have another pair by tomorrow (in engrish, a rich little prick). So im like how much were these, get online and their like 400 bucks.( wtf would you pay that much for glasses). so heres the question. I know whos they are. should i tell him i found them or just keep them, feel bad about being a thief but have the most bad ass glasses i will ever have in my life. High believer in karma but i didnt actually steal them just found them lying on the dirt.

I say keep them. First of all, these are "rich kid" types. Most likely as you said, their parents paid for the things so they haven't sacrificed enough to value the sunglasses enough. They just want a reason to ....rant on facebook and this gave them one. IF they had really valued those sunglasses, they'd have paid for them and in doing so, wouldn't have minded losing them so easily. Since they're going to get another pair tomorrow, they don't value those specific glasses, only the fact that they own them and have them at their disposal. Hence, they're paying for the convenience of the privilege of owning a $400 set of glasses. Due to their attitude on Facebook, "how some poor person must feel like its Christmas", you can tell that their attitude is that of being stuck up. It could be another rich person finding the glasses and keeping them however, they immediately assume that its "some poor person". Combine their attitude with the fact of them easily spending $400 for the option of having the glasses without actually valuing this option for the fact of not keeping up with them and since you believe in karma, you'll get the fact that this was this person's karma coming back at them. Yes, you can give them back and this might keep your karma well or better since its a generous act but keeping in mind karma, if you're the type of person to do well, you may see this as your karma coming back to you in a positive light. yeah.. do believe im gonna keep em. KoihimeFan, thanks bud. For some reason that made me feel like they deserved it (evil). But yeah, I mean if i wouldn't have picked them up they would have just gotten run over probably. Mine now, there gonna become appreciated and taken care of. Best BBQ i've ever had. They fit perfectly too so I do believe I just caught a break(for a change). Thanks yall for the advice.
