BTGuard VPN Question

Hello everyone,

Forgive me if I am posting in the wrong area. I really enjoy torrents over news groups but for some reason, my ISP sometime would send me notes about content it had concerns over. I was using the BTGuard proxy, but still got notices once in a while. I switched over to Giganews and bought the diamond package with VPN. So far its been fine, but searches and ease of use and not fun. I went to BTGuard's website and I see they have a VPN offering. Would that protect me better than BTGuard proxy annd how does it compare to Giganews vpn?

Thanks in advance to anyone who has some insight on this subject.

I tried BTGuard for a couple of months and was not satisfied with their speeds. I have since switched to Boxpn and was so surprised by their speeds I went out and brought the yearly package. Plus they are unlimited use and give you access to servers all over the world. They also just added a site in Australia which to me is a first.

Make sure the VPN servers aren't located in the US. Even some western european countries have stringent rules.

I really enjoy torrents over news groups

WHY??
there are no isp woes with usenet!
using the BTGuard proxy

you might be better suited setting up a usenet BLOCK account for that cost
I switched over to Giganews and bought the diamond package

you are paying WAY TOO MUCH for usenet access if you spend more than $99/year.
with VPN

use astraweb and hire a vpn separately
unless you like to burn money
