On Basis of this : games+performance+budget
He have 2 questions:
1. nvidia or ati?
2. single unit gpu ultra high end or just a simple high end but sli/crossfire?
And give ur suggestions!!

nVidia GeForce 500 series and above is fine for the latest games, and I think ATI ain't good :)

for good performance nvidia i prefer..!

Yeah, I bought the Nvidia 9800gt a couple years back, and it still runs all the new games flawlessly. I've never actually had an ATI card but, from everything I read before I purchased mine, Nvidia is definitely the way to go.

For your price range, you can get one of the top of the line cards. I wish I had that much dough to drop on one haha. Good luck!

You're right, he can get a top notch nVidia video card with that range, nVidia is the way to go :)

hi everyone! first of all big ups to evilboy, for putting this up! he was so nice to notice my stat update.
I am currently pulling up funds for the card and I am tightening up my belt so to speak.
maybe by August I will reach my top goal.
I am still using nvida GT8800 OC(factory) on Q9450 and ddr2 system, and its still working great!
I am just ready to build a new rig.
but focusing to get the gpu first.
1. so ATI is out of the line up now. thanks to your suggestions.
2. so I will be getting an Intel CPU
3. now, I am just confused whether my target will me a VERY ULTRA nvidia high-end GPU but single OR just a REG High-end nvidia BUT SLI?
4. single = GeForce GTX 690
if cant get it
single = GeForce GTX 670 (plan b)
or the SLI option of a lower high-end gpu
SLI = GeForce GTX 590
****any further suggestions also suggestions for item# 4?

I seriously see most of the users here are biased or maybe its an personal opinion . But ATI is giving NVIDIA a bad time and sales can show you that. I seriously ain't going on one side but i am using ati cards myself. so i guess i am more than satisfied with it

Thank you for your input MitGunneR. I seriously hope there wont be any ATI vs NVIDIA stand-off because of my predicament.
I'm not starting any conflicts .... It's just that I've been using NVIDIA for a long time. And My rig is old. cant u tell?
And I am just ready for a new one. And I am very open to suggestions. I just dont want to have my hard earned hard saved money go to waste.
And I am trusting people who are adept to the topic/situation and also trusting those people who have used nvidia/ati high-end gpu's and compared them and mining for their suggestions.
u know how it feels when you regret buying something and cant change them at all anymore? hence my data mining bec the money I put out is hard earned and hard saved. so i just want to put up a rig that will make me happy. be it NVIDIA or be it ATI.
but as of the moment, based on the suggestions, which i am so grateful, my loyalty will stay with Nvidia.
ooopps sorry, it's not about being loyal to a gpu brand, I AM JUST LOYAL TO THE MONEY I SPEND. just dont want for it to go to waste. thats all.
