Quick hardware question

So, since searching the internet (the rest of it) has gotten me nowhere, I'll ask you guys. In looking for a new computer, my budget just increased and I am considering purchasing an SSD. So, the question I'm asking you is about hard drives. I know that SSDs are amazing, but the question is HOW amazing. With these specs, would putting a 1TB 5400 RPM HDD in it actually bottleneck the computer's performance? I know that it's the weakest system component in this and want to make sure I am utilizing the computer to its fullest extent.

i7-3610qm
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 1GB DDR5
8GB of DDR3 RAM (Not sure about exact speeds)

So for 100 bucks, is it worth it? That is the question.

Thanks in advance,

Have they? I haven't looked into SSDs since my initial foray as I was burnt by the experience. I would love to acquire another one as I got hooked on the expereince..the boot up time and loading the apps in startup was incredible

You could also get a Seagate Momentus. Its a HDD and a SDD hybrid which save you alot of cash, but still gives you that performance.

When it comes to spindle-type Hard Drives, SATA type and Cache Size are Important things to consider when trying to compare an apple to an apple instead of trying to compare the apple to a mango!
