Many folks over the years that have an interest in Native American culture often explore the possibility of receiving a Native name. ![]() So...here's your chance! Tell me a little about yourself and I'll see if I can find a name that is suitable! For example...tyr1 works in cold conditions! His name is Breaks The Ice! So...what do you think??? Feel free to share your new name on the following blog. Click here to add your names KOJB "The Eagle"...Streaming Live! If you get a chance RiverCoyote I am curious to see what name I might have been given if I had been born a Native American.
I would tell you a little about myself but I think I will rely on your instincts (which seem to be very good indeed) I will tell you this about myself though, I have always used a Latin inscription in my sig and it is a motto that I think quite accurately sums me up as a person. It translates as. ‘Resolutely in action, gently in manner.’ Hope that is enough for you. I am curious about your name, you are RiverCoyote but in your blog you referred to yourself as WoundedEagle. Perhaps when you have the time you could tell us the meaning of your name, I am sure others here would be as interested as I am. (Only if you feel comfortable talking about it of course) Thank you for going to all the trouble of finding names for everyone, it’s a really nice thing to offer to do. AhrimanThorn12871

The name "WoundedEagle" is a name that I started calling myself shortly after I started my new walk in life. (I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America who fell from grace...therefore, I was wounded)
A couple of years later, a Holy Man that I made a Sacred Staff for changed my name to River Coyote. Still working on your name! RiverCoyote26246

A great thinker who carefully selects his friends. You care...and it shows. You watch others and are fully aware of what goes on around you.
Does this seem true to you? Repeat your new name a few times...you will know if it fits. RiverCoyote26246

I have been told a number of times that I do quite literally move like a cat so your choice of name for me is very appropriate indeed. You also seem to have pretty accurately summed up my personality. (Without citing any of my many faults, so thank you for that)
Thank you very much indeed; it is a name I shall not forget. AhrimanThorn12871

Thank you very much indeed; it is a name I shall not forget. You are so welcome. Showing pride in such a name brings me great humility. Thank you!
