Hello I am new to ebooks and I am trying to do 2 things. 1. I have books downloaded in epub format. I want to know how to transfer them to my kindle app on my Motorola Razr,

2. I want to know what program to open up EPUBS with on my pc for pc viewing also. Thanks for the help. Feel free to message me as well.

I would suggest using aldiko reader instead of the kindle app on your phone. Its free in the play store and very easy to use. Not sure about the PC. I typically use my tablet or phone.

You can use a free program called Calibre to both read your EPUB files on the computer and to convert those files to MOBI format which can be read on your phone using the kindle app.

I actually don’t have a Motorola Razr and have never used kindle but I found this description for you of how to do it.
“You can use calibre to Save-to-disk to my DropBox ebooks folder, then from the phone use the Android DropBox and DropSync apps to transfer the books wirelessly to my phone's ebook directories.”
I don’t know if any of that makes any sense to you or not, I believe you should also be able to tell Calibre where to send the saved file after it has converted it and you would just choose the folder that your kindle app will access when looking for books. I know that Calibre can do what you want I am afraid just not completely sure of the process, but hopefully this will help to point you in the right direction.

With Calibre all you have to do is connect the kindle and then right click on the book and select send to device. I dont have the kindle right now to say exactly but i believe it showed the kindle in options of where to send. otherwise it was the send to main memory.

The kindle app on your phone will not let you open your own mobi or prc files. Coolreader which is free at Play store will.

Coolreader is also the only mobile reader I've seen that remotely handles stylesheets.

+1 for calibre! It is imho the best free (as in 'free beer' and 'free speech') program out there. try it, you will be pleasantly surprised :) It does alot more as just converting and reading. You can use it as a library for your e-books.
