Sorry Silver and Redgrave has a Bronze so Hoy 5 Gold and 1 Silver and Redgrave 1 Bronze so due to the Silver he is now Britains most sucessful Olympian

yer redgrave is but in 4 years its garranteed he wont be world record holders 2 god whut a day for brits today god im proud to be english we got robbed at the womens sprint to be dq the japs got demoted but we got kicked thats wrong still gb rules but take my hat off to usa to in swimming there dominating

hehe sorry but im right. Both have 5 golds but Hoy also has a silver while Redgrave has a bronze so statistically Chris Hoy is now the most successful Olympian in history, and hes stil got a chance to improve upon his tally in a couple of days biggrin

Props to Redgrave tho Wiggins Hoy n co have acheived that over 3 olympics I doubt there will be another British, maybe even worldwide, athlete to win 5 golds in 5 different Olympics
