MMA is for wannabees. Some could say its the future, thats only because of mass commercialism and cool films . I come from a boxing,Muay Thai, kickboxing background. Id rather master each art individually then a couple of things out of each one.
That still kinda sounds like Mixed Martial Arts to me

MMA 3 years running. To me boxing is a show sport, MMA is the street defensive style, anyhow legs can go further than arms any day.
Cant beat a good old Round house to the temple

I just don't like Dana White, his attitude like he invented the sport, or his Vince MacMahan style of trying to buy up every other promotion company. Like him or hate him Dana White is the reason why MMA is as popular as it is now. His attitude is understandable, just like McMahan's attitude. Without Dana White doing the things he's done with the UFC, MMA wouldn't be where it is now. As for Gracie, honestly he wasn't very dominate. Look who he fought. Mainly un trained people who like to fight. It was MMA back then tbh. It was brawling. Hair pulling, nut punching were allowed. Once they started to set rules, Gracie became overrated. Look how Hughes mauled him in there last fight. |
