A Feedback Comment Issue Involving All Members26 March 2012, 21:57 (1 year ago)
Lately I have been noticing comments in the feedback for torrents posted by members of Kat that do not need to be posted. This thread's purpose is to halt these unnecessary feedback comments. People use feedback to determine the quality of a torrent as in if it has audio sync issues, pixelation, and numerous other things that could effect the viewing of said torrent thus this is why Kat has feedback so people who have downloaded said torrent can inform others on problems with the torrent that could effect and determine if the person wants to download this copy.
Comments that I have seen myself that I believe do not need to be in feedback: I will wait for better copy < this does not need to be in feedback seeeeeed or please seed < newer torrents have only the uploader seeding and depending on the torrent it could have hundreds of people trying to download the same one thus it will take time to download. If it is an old torrent be wise in your efforts to find a seeded torrent as Kat does index from other sites so if you post this on a torrent that has been indexed and the uploader is not on this site then this comment is null. I found better at or hey click this < this is spam, it is not tolerated on Kat in any way and your account may be deleted and you may be banned from Kat. This torrent is against my religion do not download or isn't this illegal < Just because it is against your religion does not mean it is against others if it is just don't download it, there is no need to use feedback as your personal soapbox. If you are against torrenting then why are you here in the first place? This is in no way needed in feedback. paragraph movie reviews < on the main page of the torrent at the top right you will find an IMDB link please use IMDB to post movie reviews in no way is it necessary to post repeated comments on the movie. Feedback is for torrent quality only. Spoilers> Please do not spoil the movie/episode for anyone, again this is not IMDB many people who download the torrents here have yet to watch it, there is no need to spoil it for anyone. Cussing and flaming members for there rating posts < This happens many times on cams; To some members there is a separate rating scale on cams versus dvdrip. 1-10 on cams as in it if it is rated 10 it is a very good cam if it is rated 1 it is a bad cam. The 1-10 rating system is not only for brrips or dvdrips but for all torrents on this site, each are rated by their category. Disagreements with Hindi movies on main < this covers both sides Do Not Flame each other. Again only post torrent ratings and Quality do not argue in feedback. Adding multiple replies to other members comments< Please only do this if they need installation help or ask for help and then message them via inbox, Feedback is in no way a forum. If you yourself need help on anything having to do with the torrent message the uploader via inbox rather than posting multiple feedback comments. As it says in the bottom of the feedback box: please, leave only comments related to torrent quality and status Taken from Kats Rules Page: Do not leave any comments that are obscene, racist, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. All comments that are left on torrent files should only contain information about the torrent. Multi commenting is not allowed. Any type of advertising and spam in comments, avatars, usernames, walls, torrents and over personal messages is not welcome. If you are interested in cooperation with KickassTorrents please contact the administration. Please do not rate torrents that you personally have not downloaded. Rating or giving feedback to a torrent more than three times is also not allowed. Thank you for reading this post. If the members, mods or staff have anything to add please feel free to do so. 90 replies before
So, why only allow comment on torrent quality? I've come across some torrents that leave "clues" as to their genuine-ness, for example, titles such as "hot horny milf gets her brains scr**ed out before swallowing a hot l**d" measuring about 85Kb - obvious that this type of thing may be "nefarious" in its intent. Similarly, there is currently a torrent in the music section of the front page which claims to be 60's hits. This may indeed be genuine, but amongst others, it lists a song called HONEY by BOBBY GOLDSBORO, which is actually from the 70's! I personally feel that if a torrent is "suspect" then others should be allowed to express their concerns, which in turn empowers us to make a decision whether to download that particular torrent, or not.
