A word to the frugal![Warning]01 August 2012, 04:12 (9 months ago)
Today I finally got to chance my new DVI-I Dual Link male 24+5 to VGA female adapter!
To be honest this adapter sucked so bad! Sure I only paid $2 but the quality was so bad that no matter what resolution I put it to my output was fuzzy and looked like total garbage. At first I was like ohh hmm maybe I just need to right driver for my monitor so I go and get it but then I already had it install.(Thanks DriverPack Solution) So now went through testing every resolution available at every setting and still nothing looked even ok. Now I figured that my monitor probably just isn't compatible with my Graphics card(Quarto FX 1700) and I was ready to give up. Just then I remembered that right after I ordered that adapter online I happen to find the same exact adapter at a garage sale and picked that up as well. So I went and found the adapter, plugged it in, and wallah a stunning 1440 x 900 display was on my screen! I was simply astonished! Talk about some Eye candy right there!! It was amazing :D(and still is right now). So it just goes to show you that going out and buying the cheapest one on eBay isn't always the best idea. But on the contrary..... I just got a mouse that I bought on ebay a few weeks ago. I find it's quite nice :) It was only $1.75 and it light's up pretty nice and scrolling is super smooth. While I won't be using it for my desktop I do like it. I'll put some pictures below. Look closely at the words. ![]() ![]() PS: If you didn't read the whole thing you should probably scroll up to the top and do so now ;) glad to know someone made his stuff work I am still stuck trying to fix my android phone.... Actually it is OK but I am messing with it and it wont let me!! fiddling with android is almost never a good idea i have given up on saving peoples numbers now because i have to reset the phone so much ![]() |
