I thought of this last night and thought I'd give it a try. If it doesn't work out then that's ok.

Here's my idea.....
If an uploader has a couple of torrents than need to be seeded then post it here and someone can come along and volunteer to help with as many as that person wants to, for as long as their able to....maybe a week or so.

As an uploader, post NO MORE THAN 2 per 24hours needed to be seeded the most.
.
When the downloader chooses to help out, that person needs to reply to the uploader and let them know they are "adopting you for a week.

please make sure you quote or reply to that person in your post that you are helping. that also helps us to track things better and "if you expect your torrent to be downloaded, keep your PC on, don't let others burn their own machines while you're cooling off yours.

Hello, I'm Gen, and thank you for this thread.
Times are really tough for a lot of people. Folks shouldn't have to decide between rent and food or a few books, but that's what it comes down to for many. I've been lucky but we all know our fortunes could change at any time.
When I looked at my library I realized I had so much to offer. Graphic novels, pulp fiction, anthologies, series, reference material, all kinds of things. Currently, I have 20 uploads but I'm having such a tough time getting them seeded here at KAT that I can't upload any more.
My internet connection sucks and it's a bit rocky starting this up. Please see my uploads (link below) and if you like the files, please download them, enjoy them and help me seed them so I can upload more for you. Also, I am posting files I have available on my wall so people can request them and I will put them in queue to upload. How's that for optimism?
