I just recently got a PM from -AfterLife- as we chat a lot and the last he sent me struck a good nerve... So blame him for this thread :p

I got to thinking of when i first joined and how over time i have seen MASSIVE changes to KAT.. along the way i have seen many great people some you might know and some not.. Moderators, Members, Uploaders and yes even HeAdCnA and his wife Milf lol.. and Mrs G and her crew :p

But what i ask of you in this thread..
What do you remember about KAT when you first joined, your memories, your goals even, other members who you took to..

One of the things i remember when i first joined is how sometimes in my afternoon i was the only person online oh and artl who obivisiously never slept.. lol

love this place, I treat KAT like people treat google. As in, I click the bookmark when I dont have anything to do as if something magical is gonna happen. Dont add into the forums as much as I need considering I spend more than 3/4 of my internet time syphoning through all the random images and chats you fine people are bringing.

I've seen this forum thread up here in the community since Bub introduced it in March, but I hadn't got around to saying anything cuz I've been so busy with spring gardening. (Off topic here, but I moved to a new place on March 1st, so I've been up to my armpits trying to make the yard look like "somebody" cares about it.) Now that I have that in control, thought I'd say...
Yeah, I really love this site. Been coming here for over a year, and I've never been a "regular" on any other forum website. I've tried different ones occasionally - game forums mostly. Even tried to get involved in the Facebook website. But what I've learned about most of them is... they're shallow, overly dedicated to one topic (if a gamer website), or blah blah on & on about themselves (on Facebook). Here, I have found people who will engage in lively debates on all kinds of topics. And here I have made genuine friends who demonstrate they care about me with pics on my wall, PM me regularly, disagree with me when I'm wrong (or they think I'm wrong). I've found this site to be full of real live people who think, many have a good sense of humor, some are really serious! Over the year I've been here, I've found some awesome music, a few great movies, some strange books, and some strange people . I've been entertained, annoyed, insulted, and elated by turns. I had a couple rather sour encounters with people I'd rather not have met in a forum, but overall, KAT has been a fabulous website full of friends for me. My daughter is a lurker here (LOL .. can't believe it, but she is) .. but she never engages.. just downloads our great torrents. I'm encouraging her to join and participate in our fab forums! Will be introducing her to you all sometime soon, I hope!

What I remember first about KAT was how easy it was to get around the site, how great it looked, and how helpful and friendly everyone was.
I found a few uploaders and others that I made friends with. Some of them are still here, some have left already. I have laughed with friends at stupid people, places and things. I have cried when a something ill has befallen my comrades-in-arms, some just having a terribly bad day, some sick enough they passed shortly after I found out about their illness.
As for goals I wanted to be a super mod, sounded cool. I was satisfied as a VUL though and never thought I would get any further. I was as proud as could be when I found out I was a super user.
I am happy to be a member of KAT. I am proud to be a member of KAT. Thank you Kickass Torrents for making my (formerly unknown to me) dreams come true.

I am! Because of the Community and the quality of the torrents. I find what I search here. With a good quality and without any scams. :)

I have a good slogan idea for the site: Everything for everyone and everybody, human or not!
I was reading funny quotes from Spinal Taps on IMDB and I think this stupid sentence I wrote was influenced by what I read but seriously I proud and happy to be a member of the site. You can really find pratically everything downloadable which is cool as I hate looking for something via google and spend hours trying to find something. Here, you rarely get the "no torrents found" message!
