yeah i lived in Holland [Ijmuiden] -when Kiss did their 3D world tour '98 ..as a Kiss Strutter myself ..i loved it n got spraypainted like Paul Stanley ..wicked night n was right glad they sang in English not Dutch.
..as i was dreading not being able to singalonga! [not]

Saw Heart 1976 twice (Dreamboat Annie) when They were a backup band for the Headliner April Wine.
But the BEST Gig I went to was Santana Backed up by Los Lonely Boys, 2nd row- Man was it loud!! my ears are still ringing.

Stone Roses Ireland July

I've been to many gigs of rockstars and Dj's etc, but first thing that came to mind was actually stand-up comedian/musician Stephen Lynch. By Jove, that was an amazing evening to say the least.

New order comeback gig at Manchester Apollo in 1998. Complete with aftershow party tickets. Best night of my life. Saw Oasis at Maine Road and at Knebworth. They were pretty damn good too

in 1991 this girl i worked with took me to this fairly small venue (3000 seats maybe?) in Dallas to see 2 bands i'd never heard. freaking Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. Great show. Great night.
That was also the year i saw Janes Addiction at the first Lollapalooza. Another great (and pretty damn blurry) day.
Oh, and Metallica in '86 before Bob effing Rock.

Pink Floyd, Division Bell tour, Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA.
A good friend of mine and I went to the show but arrived about 5 hours early. Having nothing better to do, we went exploring and found ourselves backstage, sitting at a large, round table, drinking beer, eating peanuts, and chatting with the band and crew.
It wasn't until quite a while later that we were found out and escorted back to the front of the house. As we passed through the, previously unattended, roll up door the security guy laughs and tells us 'Damn you guys got balls', probably because we wandered around backstage without credentials for a good 3 hours and nobody asked us anything. We laughed back, said thanks, and went to our seats.
