Downloading and Seeding concerns29 April 2012, 22:28 (1 year ago)
Hi everyone,
Is there a better way to ensure anonimity with downloading and seeding? I still on occassion get an email from my ISP saying I am in copyright violation for downloading something. I am using BT Guard, but my comfort level is dropping fast. I am in the US and do not want to risk downloading or seeding becasue of this. If someone can recommend a more secure method, i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. https://kat.ph/community/show/23871/
This explains seedboxes pretty well..but even those aren't 100% secure hi IcedT..... ive used peer block and -chrispc free anonymous proxy- (google it) in the past here the uk and not had any letters but i might have bin lucky.i now use a seed box (pulsed media but there are many to chose from) for a step in my security. Also from the UK, use peerblock (formerly Peer Guardian / PG2) been torrenting for almost 8 years now and never had a copyright letter from the ISP...... this is an oft asked and answered question. if you look on the Community page, you will see a Community Search bar into which you can type searchwords and will be rewarded with lots of posts/threads related to your problem.
in fact, there is an entire section devoted to Copyright Issues with many, many answers. ![]() |
