I am currently writing a script about a bank robbery. Most of the bits from the introductions are fairly over. The problem is that when I am trying to write about this last bit, I seem to be out of ideas.

The story (concerning this person) so far;
Young man who is deeply in love with his girlfriend. The girlfriend is unfortunately very sick.
They are at the hospital. This young man gained a telephone number, where he is told how he can help the mysterious person in the phone, and then he'll help the young mans girlfriend get well.
The man is being told that on the hospital, in another area lies a man the mysterious person wants. The young man is told to go get that guy, but the only problem is that there is a policeman guarding the room he is in.

That's not all. But the part I need help with.
How does the man succeed in getting the man in the room?

Thought;
He could call the mysterious man, who knows the cop? (Find it rather easy to put it like that)
Firealarm - Lol? Kliché
Climb in from outside - This guy is no ninja.

The old "distraction" technique. Start a fire or explode something down the corridor and while the cop goes to look because it is his duty...you stroll in and pop two slugs in the guy.

The problem is just that this guy is a law abiding citizen. I know I wrote bank robbery but he isn't criminal, at least not yet.

Some sort of minor crime is committed that the cop can see and has to deal with because he/she is the only law enforcement around. Maybe the protagonist pays someone to commit the crime.

The guy gets hold of a hospital workers uniform (possibly from a locker in the staff area or an agency workers uniform) and enters the room under the auspice that he is going to do something in there legitimately i.e. change the bedding, bring the persons meal in etc.

he breaks into a medical supplies room and takes some kind of knock out drug, then drugs the cop somehow

I think I am going with some sort of distraction. Been thinking about making noises, fire or maybe something else. This will force the policeman to check it out. Thank you all!
