What format would you guys like our uploads, atm we are doing,
1) 720p BRRip x264 in .mp4
2) DVDRips x264 in .mkv
3) HDRips x264 in .mkv

What i would like to know what format would you like our 720p BRRip x264 (not sure our other encoders will use the you pick but i will use it :P)

So do you want 720p BRRip x264 in mkv or mp4

MKV:

Pros; Very small file size with good quality
Cons; Less media players support it, Incompatibility with PS3's

MP4:

Pros; Accepted by most media players, good compression ratio (size:quality), gradually tending towards being the standard
Cons; None that I know

Conclusion... I vote mp4

There's no problem with MKV files if u updated ur codecs and use GOM player.
upload movies en both formats, people will download it.

i voted mp4 , if it all goes mkv . then off to another site. play all my downloads on ps3 , it does not play mkv.

i went for mkv because :D

edit: i feel like i should explain myself lol. i feel like mkv will soon be the superior format plus all my mkv films play through my tv either on my usb or hard drives :) so mkv please sundox :D i tend to only go for HiGH rips now anyway :P

Yep im with Gazza, MP4 is the more universal format so you should go with that :)

as long as it plays in VLC it doesnt matter

I prefer mkv but my comp is older and doesn't like them.

Although the option aint there, whatevers happened to good old AVI format , my stand alone cant play either of these formats,
