After many write in my blog about how they found KAT im gonna make a Thread about it.

This is how i found KAT:

It started with my sister's boyfriend talked about downloading movies "free" if we can call it that. So I asked him if he could teach me how i could do it and i asked him about i could download other stuffs like games and etc. He started it was called Torrents. And you could easily find other stuff too, somethings could just be hard to find. He teach me then. We was on TPB for find a torrent. And he said I should try go for a dvdrip or brrip it would be best. And i should look after one with many seeds on it. It would be faster download speed. The first movie I downloaded was Rush Hour 1. After he had taught me. He left me. And now i would try to find another movie. So I searched on Google for Mission Impossible 3 and then I came across a page called www.kickasstorrents.com. and I found it here, and it was good quality and quick download. so I searched for several movies in here and almost all things i searched after could i find here. So I bookmarked the site. and I started to use it, I guess it took a year before I made a user on. And now i started to upload here at Kickasstorrents. it was so how I discovered Kickasstorrents

Tell me how you found it.

I used to use TBT. My friend suggested me more than 1 year ago. I used it for so many times more than TBT but never thought about making account. At last i made account and now i'm addicted to KAT it's Awesome.

I found KAT after BT Junkie closed its doors, was a sad day. I used KAT for a while & made comments but unless your a registered user NO ONE takes any notice of you. SO I joined & have had loads of fun meeting like minded people & managed to get loads of Downloads that I may have missed.

461 days ago I was looking in google to download pes 2010 for pc and I found it in kat.ph !!!
This is the result :

I don't remember how I came to torrents specifically but I remember how I got here and why I stay, if that counts. Before Kat I used another site (the name escapes me at the moment... torrentpond maybe?) which was a torrent crawler. It looked at several different sites (btjunkie, pirate bay, etc) and returned the results of them all to me in one handy list so I could pick the best quality, highest seeded, whatever off all the sites combined. Problem was... every time I went to the damn site (not the torrents themselves mind, the torrent web sites) I'd end up infested with viruses so I stopped using it. BTJ slowly started becoming the only site I was using but most of the time I couldn't find what I wanted so I'd go run a google search and 99.9% of the time if I did find the torrent, it had a Kat address. So I wandered over here... and never left. This is the only torrent type site I've ever become involved in enough to particpate instead of just downloading. Even with my ISP watching me like a hawk I still end up on Kat every day... and still leave with a smile.

I've been with TPB for ages but over the past few months I have had difficulties uploading. I also got tired of all the fake torrents, the viruses/malware, the flaming - all that BS. I've been a visitor here for some time, but I was hesitant to make an account with KAT while it was still a .com domain. KAT is a much friendlier community and the peer and mod QC of the uploads is awesome.
