hi folks

this are my own experienced tips

1)u need to seed up to 1:3 ratio(for slow connection) if u r net connection is high then its your choice

2)if u r uploading any thing screen shots are must they provide users a idea of what they are downloading and for movie torrents provide either screen-shots or sample for software's, details of the application and whatever applicable

a)torrent description is a main part of torrent some ignores it but you don't, and give details about the movie file(regarding file size,source, language etc ) not about the movie about movie details give link to IMDB in u r description.

3)upload not only here but upload at other sites you like , it makes ur torrents to seed fast and downloading will be fast and nice and give good impression on your torrents(slow connection buddies should follow this tip and am following it get good results)

4)check the upload torrents every time so that if anyone reports problem u may solve it if u upload and leave it then it is for nothing

5)upload 1 to 5 torrents a day and choose torrents wisely u can , choosing torrents for uploading is a psychological factor, try uploading these(in my view)

a)famous and rare ones

b)do not upload weird torrents because for the life time you have to seed it

c)latest in first place

d)quality and quantity should be great not good because everyone is providing something so u should be at top refer to other up-loaders and learn something and ask them how to improve and use some nice trackers which are good

these are my own suffered experiences and believe me or not i have done this with just net speed of 236.8Kbps

ALWAYS give as much info you can in desc ;) for video files you can use media info to get all the info you need :) most new video files uploaders just copy the whole mediainfo and pasting it :) and you will have a fine desc :) but a lot of the stuff you get in mediainfo you dont even need, but that will be a fine desc :) for screenshots im using VLC player and jus shift+s (i think it is :p) and just pick out the best screenshots and post them in the desc and you good to go :)
i would say stay away from uploading 4+ torrents a day if you are using your home connection as it will slow down your other internet usage, if you are using all your speed on seeding, so just upload one at a time till you got around 10 seeds, and stop it and upload the next :)

yeah 1:3 is 3.0.
personally i upload a lot more, keep forgetting i have them running on my seedbox, sometimes i have over 50+ ratio before i delete the torrents.

I use Media Player Classic to create thumbnails and screenshots, then upload them using ImageShack Bulk Uploader, also right click and select "properties" to retrieve MediaInfo, saves having to download the seperate MediaInfo software. If you want a more professional look try using LujoSoft Movie Nfo Creator, it's simple to add screens, torrent info(codecs, format, playing time etc)a simple double click on your .torrent will transfer all relevant info into your .NFO. There are several themes to choose from so you aren't stuck with the same layout for every upload. IMDb info is also collated and added to the description. Get it from here: http://www.lujosoft.net/_content/_utilities/movienfo.html ....... my own torrents I seed to at least 1:100, I rarely download anything but, anything I do download I seed to a healthy ratio.

Thanks for the insight MaNaM! I am seeding always. I just have not made my own upload. It's irrelevant to my case, BUT I do SEED though.
