how can you check to make sure that your connected to the proxy ip and not your ip
hmmm, good question. Yes, you can download someone's torrent and ask them if they see your IP address. This would only really work if you were the only one connected to the torrent though so the person will know it is you. I would volunteer one of my torrents fort testing but my wifi is crap right now.
