For Mac users, its pretty much the same steps as vista users

Find Grab under Applications -> Utilities -> Grab
image

At the top of your menu bar click on Capture and you will be presented with various options, theyre pretty self explanatory, play around with them if in doubt

Then you get a window with your screenshot to look over, when satisfied saving can be done under File
image

It will save as tiff so if youre having trouble uploading tiff images you can use Preview to change them to jpegs, to do that double click on your screenshot and they should open up in Preview under File -> Export
image

Under Format select jpeg and save

yea I noticed that when I switched over from windows and its definitly worthwhile as it can be a time saver when OSX seems much more responsive

I usually just hit command+shift+3/4, but that way is better if you want all those options.

NICE thread! This is such a puzzle for some people. It was for me, 'till I got Win7 with Snipping Tool.
Easiest little gadget there is!
