Hiya everyone,
I'm taking a trip to Europe starting Apr 2nd 2012. I'm starting out in Athens, Greece, then will be traveling to many other countries. Most likely are Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, England, Scotland, and Ireland. I may even get up to Finland, Norway and Sweden, but gonna have to see how much money I have left at that point. haha. If you wanna hang out, have a beer, lemme know. I'll be doing most of my traveling by EuRail, and will be staying in major cities, but may pass through your town. I'll be doing most of this in 2 months or so, and want to stay in Ireland for awhile after that. I'll be trying to find a place in County Clare, near Doolin and would definitely love to travel and visit while I'm there. SK 190 replies before
I left this morning for London, and will be here for at least 3 days. Unfortunately, the horrible hotel I've chosen make you pay extra for your wi-fi *pout*. 12Euro for 7 hours, 6E for 3 hours, etc (Incidentally, they also charge 5Euro to hold baggage, 5 Euro to BORROW a voltage converter, and a 20Euro deposit for the TV REMOTE!) So, I won't be on as much for the next few days. But I'll be checking in, and making updates of my stay in London, as I can. So stay tuned!
More great photos Suicide_king, especially the one of the minster (cathederal) you took form Marks & Spencers it looks like you found the best place in the whole city to view it.
And I have a confession, that is not really me in the photos, I sent a stunt double in my place. ![]() Oh and the origin of my name (for anyone who is interested) can be found Here . Really looking forward to reading more of your adventures in the old world Suicide_king, and I recommend any other uses who may be near to where you are travelling to get in touch and meet up for a beer or ten. I dont know if they still have it but the Tate Modern had free wifi...and a pretty good collection of Rothko
![]() Just another quick update. I'm still in London, did the tourist thing yesterday, got a few decent pics that I'll post later. Wanted to pop over to Paris for the day, but again my Eurail pass was worthless and I wasn't gonna spend any more money on trains, cause I'm seriously running out. I leave London tomorrow and am going to Devon to see Brad, I hope, as I havent talked to him yet. More later, when I have a decent Internet connection
