Depending on your browser, you can get extensions and apps to block certain sites, however, if someone is determined enough to reach such sites, they will most likely find a way round them. If you'd still like to make an attempt, then things like Website Blocker in the Chrome Web Store would probably do the job fairly well.

Regardless of what you do, surely a way around it will be found. If anything, all you're doing is demeaning his intelligence. Unless of course he's stupid. In which case, carry on.

Please dont call people stupid. You are only making yourself look that way my friend. If you dont have any help to tell the person, then dont say anything at all. Thank you.

True, this is here for help, he does have a point though, like I made earlier. If the person is determined enough, he will find a way round it. I know I found ways round blocks at that age, and I do it at college now.

Don't put down someone's child. We don't do that kind of thing here. Behavior like that is not tolerated in KAT. You have been warned.
This is called FLAMING and is not acceptable behavior.

Open the Parental Controls menu in Vista by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and then select the Parental Controls icon. In Windows 7, Parental Controls has moved to User Accounts and Family Safety, also located in the Control Panel. Under User Accounts and Family Safety, click "Set up parental controls for any user."
2
Create a standard user account for your child. In Parental Controls, click "Create a new user account." After the new account is complete, return to the Parental Controls main menu to continue.
3
Select the child's user account and click "On" to enable Parental Controls.
4
Adjust the settings for each area you would like to restrict with Parental Controls. To limit the time kids can spend on the computer, click "Time Limits" and choose what time to allow computer usage and what time to forbid it. For game control, click "Games" and configure the desired game-playing rules for your child. You can block games based on content rating or age rating. You can also add specific games to block or block all games entirely.
5
Configure content filters for safer Internet browsing. In Windows Vista, Parental Controls comes with its own web content filtering system. To enable it, click on "Web Restrictions" in the Parental Controls window. Select "Block some websites or content." Under "Block web content automatically," choose the proper filtering level for your child.
In Windows 7, the web restrictions feature is no longer available. In order to filter Internet content, you have to get additional parental controls from other software. Not to worry, Microsoft integrated content filtering into Windows Live Family Safety, a part of the free Windows Live Essentials package. If you don't already have Windows Live Essentials installed, you can get it from Windows Update. Select the update package under "Recommended updates" and click "Install" to have Windows automatically add Windows Live Essentials to your computer.

Um that was an most excellent walk through, you don't happen to be THE MIND behind windows?LOLbiggrinloltonguewink

OpenDNS has the ability to block porn and all other non-safe sites. It's free and it's reliable.

and it's not yet another piece of software running on your computer..all it is is a DNS entry and make an account at OpenDNS

SirSeedsAlot is right. Good program. But also, most kids that age use Google for everything. If you sign in to you own Google account, you can put on a thing called "Safe Search" Dont do much, besides make sure nothing comes up on Google itself. To go any farther than that, you will need to get a program.
