I have been trying to download for a full day now through KAT. I can download the torrent file but the file is not actually starting to download. The status says "run" but nothing is happening.
Just wondered if there is something wrong with the site or the 5 links I am trying to download.
I did a test download through another website and it works to prove that it is not through our computer or network.
We have used KAT for many years and have never experienced any problems.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just in response to some of the other suggestions of deleting QGet - I'm not understanding why you suggest that. We've used it for quite a few years as we've used KAT and it has been very reliable.

Have you tried the magnetic link download option (The horseshoe shape symbol)?

Because QGet isn't the best program for torrenting. The issue you're having isn't KAT it's QGet. Try utottent and see what happens.

Pringles is correct. KAT is extremely compatible with uTorrent, as a result, better down/upload results.
Now it could also be the torrents you are trying to download either don't have any seeds, or the trackers are not compatible with QGet.
I strongly agree with everyone else here. Try uTorrent. You can just TRY it, you don't have to make it your primary bitclient.
Just give it a shot.

I'll check with my hubby when he gets home. He's the computer geek in our home. I've got the link ready to download uTorrent as you guys suggested ;)

I prefer Tixati, but the guys/gals are right utorrent is the easiest and quite reliable. Give it a try I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Agree, Utorrent is my choice.. do very well

I too been having a problem. But utorrent shows that openbittorrent, publicbt, istole.it, ccc.de are all down.
