I'm looking for role-playing games or rpg's which do not have 'rpgmaker' graphics (played plenty of those) at the same should NOT require dedicated graphics and playable on Windows xpsp2 . Also if it's less than 1 GB the better it is. Also looking for only single-player game, no MMORPG or anything like that.

Any games like that.

I was thinking of chrono trigger and chrono cross but apparently both of them were not for PC (and to my knowledge still not ported). Lot of people find it fun to play them though.

You can get the epsxe emulator and the ISOS and play them.
That's how I'm replaying Final Fantasy Tactics, Star Ocean: The Second Story, and Brigandine.
I had discs for the first two, but Brigandine's impossibly rare and possibly my favorite PS1 game. Emulators make playing all these easier again since my PS2 has been gone for a while.

Ah, I still use XP so if you're using 7 you may have to try the "remake" edition. Dunno if the old Ultima Edition works on 7. I actually found out I have the 4 Isos for the Ultima Edition but each ones like 600megs. Final product though is only 415 ^_^
