These torrents are my own and i'm the main seeder. you can request help seeding your share on the thread i showed you... the one torrent i checked in seedbox was downloading fine and Zagreb stated your others seem fine too. thanks for sharing at kickass... your very welcome... ;) edit: "but they are stuck" don`t use initial seeding some of the people downloading have dropped off your torrents and your client will not re-upload chunks more than once on "initial seeding"... also try to seed no more than 2-3 shares at a time. so it's better not to check initial seeding box? I didn't know that, asbo you are blowing my mind ![]() so it's better not to check initial seeding box? I didn't know that, asbo you are blowing my mind ![]() it`s ok to use "initial seeding" if your a well established uploader posting on many torrent sites. if as an uploader you expect to only seed 1:1 your shares will die because it only takes a couple of downloaders to hit and run. upload at least till there are ten seeders before you stop. if your shares die after that people can whistle they should of helped seed more. (my opinion based on what has worked best for me in the past.) well i had all of my uploads on initial seeding,I just change it after reading your post...yeah,I need to stop some of them,it's too much bc I'm seeding only with my client. The "initial seeding" mode means that your torrent application will only seed each part of the whole torrent once until the whole torrent has been seeded.
IE. If a torrent comprises of 100 fragments, the uploader's torrent app will give out each fragment once, this leads to an efficient swarm and reduces "wasted" upload slots from the initial seeder's computer. If each peer took the same fragments 1,2,3,4,5,6... it would take much longer for the torrent to be fully seeded. If there are two peers with a direct connection to the primary seeder, if peer-1 got fragments 1,3,5,7,9... and peer-2 got fragments 2,4,6,8,10... then the torrent will be fully seeded quickly to the swarm. Once fully seeded the uploader turns off the "initial seeding" mode. The "initial seeding" mode offers no benefit to people joining an existing swarm. Edited
